Meet the team
Vicki has been managing Long Furlong Barn for nearly 3 years with the help of her team, Amy, Georgia and Emma.
Known for her gift for solving problems, Vicki thrives on making sure Long Furlong Barn couples achieve their wedding dream.
Vicki has 2 children of her own and loves bringing her creative style to work. The Furlong View was Vicki’s inspiration to bring the stunning countryside in, creating a beautiful outdoor ceremony option for couples to enjoy. She often creates many of the creative posts you will see on the Barns Instagram feed and is always on the look for new décor!
Amy is our newest team member, joining the Long Furlong Barn team in Summer 2019.
Amy is a real people person, having worked in client facing roles for most of her career. She loves to listen to each couple’s vision about their wedding day to make sure Long Furlong Barn as a venue can play a part to ensure their wedding dreams can become a reality.
Amy works closely with Vicki in developing the Long Furlong Barn social media content and has a passion for photography so in between viewings you will probably find her taking photos of the barn and stunning countryside.
When she is not involved with Long Furlong Barn, Amy spends her time on long walks with her young family, two very excitable dogs and her camera…of course!
Emma got married at Long Furlong Barn in 2014, and brings her own personal knowledge and experience to the role of Venue Co-ordinator. She started working at Long Furlong Barn in January 2018 after having her 2 children.
Having walked the Cartshed aisle herself, she understands the wedding nerves and jitters couples often feel as their big day approaches and is on hand to offer practical advise and reassurance. Known to be a perfectionist, she is often found tweaking the venues decor and furniture to ensure it is always looking perfect for couples.
You are most likely to see Emma on wedding days or conducting viewings, and she will always make you feel welcome at Long Furlong Barn.
Georgia started at Long Furlong Barn back in March 2018 as a University Intern working part-time gaining valuable experience whilst studying for her Event Management degree at the University of Winchester, from which she has recently graduated.
